Shari Kessel Schneider, MSPH, is a Project Director at Education Development Center in the Center for Research on High Risk Behaviors. Since 2006, she has been conducting large-scale longitudinal survey research on school bullying and cyberbullying, including the relationship between victimization and mental health. Through a grant from Facebook, she has conducted qualitative research on school-based responses to cyberbullying and the roles that parents and youth play in cyberbullying prevention. Ms. Schneider has also developed a cyberbullying website, http://preventingbullying.promoteprevent.org/cyberbullying, which includes interactive tools to help adults talk to youth about cyberbullying and digital citizenship.
